Begin With the Right Cut of Meat

Gather Your Flavoring

You’ll need seasoning to bring out the best in your kofte. Grated onion, mint, parsley, pine nuts, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper are great additions to lamb to create a scrumptious kofte. You’ll need one and a half teaspoons of cinnamon and allspice. Go with a half teaspoon of nutmeg. Add one and a half teaspoons of salt and pepper. Mix everything together thoroughly and form in the shape of your choice, from meatballs to skewers. You’ll cover your kofte and chill it in the fridge. It should chill at least an hour, but can safely chill up to twelve hours.

Lamb Kofte: Get Cooking

You have several choices when cooking your kofte. You can go with the grill, a griddle, or a frying pan. Coat the cooking surface with a little grease and turn your kofte often until it has turned a golden brown on each side. When your kofte is done, serve it with side dishes of your choosing.
